It seems like the elections have been going on forever! Probably because the primaries, particularly the Democratic race was so intense and because I actually voted two weeks ago. Now that Barack Obama is officially our president elect we can return our focus to other important things like the Britney Spears watch or the upcoming season of Top Chef and try to forget that the economy stinks, China owns the most US currency in the world, CEOs are using bailout funds to take vacations, and we're still embroiled in two non-wars. After McCain gets over any initial disappointment at the loss, he might actually be relieved that he won't have to take on this mess.
