Being Rich

I don't think that he was the first person to say it, but in a recent interview regarding his Broadway debut Chris Rock told an interviewer that being rich "isn't about having a lot of money, it's about having options."  How true that is.  I'm at a crossroads and trying to make some decisions about my future.  I wonder what I would do if money weren't a restraint?  Would more options make my decisions easier or more difficult?

During the Holidays there are a number of law enforcement agencies patrolling the streets of Austin looking for intoxicated drivers.  Some agencies will even put extra officers onto the streets for this purpose.  This year the University of Texas at Austin has joined forces with the Travis County Attorney’s Underage Drinking Prevention Program.

So Yeah...

I haven't posted anything in a month.  Actually that's more like two months.  I'm wondering if any of the handful of people that used to read this are actually bothering to check if I've updated or if you all think that I just quit.  I've been busy and I don't have such an inflated view of my self-worth or the worth of my written words to think that this has been a tragedy to the online world.  I suppose I could give you an update and fill you in on all of the things that have kept me so busy, but that could take the surprise out of future posts.  Let's just say it involves babies, weddings, and shoes -- none of which are mine.
